We are a family of three living in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and we have decided to see what happens when we source our food locally as much as possible.

We believe seasonal produce and free-range meats yield the best flavor and optimal nutrition. We also believe that eating food produced locally contributes to a healthier ecosystem and a more connected community. So, we have subscribed to a CSA (which stands for community supported agriculture) at a local farm and each week we pick up we will share what we food we received and how we used it. We also like to support the farmer's market in our town and the surrounding towns and may share some of the treasures we find there too. We hope to inspire you to create your own unique dishes using locally sourced ingredients and we'd love to hear about it if we do.
